A word from Justin
Thanks for taking the time to visit my website and reading my bio. I first decided to be a filmmaker when I saw Kevin Smith’s Clerks. Seeing a guy just max out his credit cards and sell his comic book collection to make his first movie inspired this kid from a small town in North Carolina. I was also very inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino, John Waters, David Fincher, Larry Clark, Lloyd Kaufman, and Gaspar Noé. Being a kid in the late 80s early 90s I also really enjoyed the action films of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
I started my music video career working with The Demonstration on Tribunal Records which I am greatly appreciative and enjoyed my time working closely with them. This led me to working with bands like My Hero Is Me on Tragic Hero Records, A Stained Glass Romance on Torque Records, and Killwhitneydead that was also on Tribunal Records. This was a very fun time in my life and it lead to other bands hitting me up to do music videos like the Pacifist, Surrounded By Monsters (Nuclear Blast Records), The Contortionist (Entertainment One), The Word Alive (Fearless Records) and Texas In July (Equal Vision Records).
One of the bands I started working with was iwrestledabearonce(Century Media Records), this was an amazing experience, and I enjoyed every minute working with them. I ended up doing six music videos for them and one feature length movie called ‘A Beary Scary Movie’ that starred, Sean Crahan from Slipknot and Jake Busey, (Starship Troopers & The Frighteners…etc.)
I took a bit of a hiatus in the late 2010s, but I’m back I’m working on building my portfolio. I have been working on new music video steadily and hopefully you are were interested in working with me. Thanks for taking sometime to read a little bit about me. If you have questions please feel free to contact me on the links on this website .
Kick ass!
